Micah Bournes poem of whether being a pursuer of justice is worth it in a world where financial gain is the only thing that seems to be worth fighting for. Should we really strive to be good people if it has no incentives.
This one of my favourite poems. Nick Vitellaro talks about how he felt like a lost sheep and how he got "reconciled" to the father. You are never too far. The Lord has the power to meet you where you are because He loves you. He has no trouble risking the embarrassment of rejection because He loves you!
This dress has caused massive controversy. I could argue that the issue of the colour of the dress is was probably bigger than anything that was happening at the time. Relationships and friendships were ended because of this dress. 75% of the people seeing the dress see white and gold. The rest see blue and black. I tried to find out why this was the case and I didn't find a lot of useful articles on the internet. So I found out and here it is.
Let's take a step back
The reason why people see the colours differently (besides the horrible camera) is because our eyes adjust to the background and the lighting on the picture. This is better explained with an example.
Take a look at this cube:
The shades of grey in this cube (wait for it) are actually the same shade of grey. Your eyes are seeing the colours differently because of the blue and brown background and the lighting on the cube. Don't believe me? Take a ruler and place it on the line on the cube.
This will just be a platform where I express my opinions and impose my religious views on you! I will also post news on current affairs and things I find funny.
